Community Guidelines

Rishtio is for adults seeking matrimonial introductions. Treat every person with dignity. Harassment, threats, stalking, sexual misconduct, hate, caste-based abuse, discrimination, and exploitation are not allowed.

Use your real or commonly used name and provide accurate, current information. Do not impersonate anyone or create an account for another adult without their knowledge. A helper may prepare a private draft, but the profile subject controls acceptance, publication, permissions, and verification.

Upload recent photos you have the right to use. Your primary photo should clearly show you. Do not upload another person's photo, sexually explicit or violent material, content that exploits or sexualizes a minor, or copyrighted work without permission. Do not include a child in a profile photo unless the child is your own and you have the appropriate consent. Every new ordinary profile photo is checked before publication. Photo liveness and Face verification are disabled.

Be respectful, accept rejection, and stop contacting someone who asks you to stop. Do not send unsolicited sexual content, pressure anyone for personal information, move money for another person, or use Rishtio for advertising, recruitment, or commercial solicitation.

Do not use Rishtio for fraud, financial solicitation, catfishing, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, child sexual abuse or exploitation, doxxing, unauthorized disclosure of private information, or any unlawful activity. Never copy or forward suspected child sexual abuse material.

Use “Report profile or user” or contact support@rishtio.com. Block the person if you do not want further contact. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or ban an account, preserve evidence, notify affected members, or report conduct when required by law. Enforcement depends on the facts, severity, history, and available evidence. Contact emergency services directly if anyone is in immediate danger.

Identity-document verification is required, but its badge reflects only the configured document check. Rishtio does not conduct criminal background checks. Verification does not establish character, intent, truthfulness, compatibility, or safety. Keep early conversations in Rishtio, never send money or credentials, verify important claims independently, and meet in a public place when you are ready.
